Description
Online Course | Approx. 1 hour
Airfields pose a variety of safety and security hazards, particularly in general aviation environments, where a diverse range of users, including flight crews, student pilots, passengers, and visitors, are present. Many individuals may not fully recognise the risks or understand the importance of maintaining airfield safety and security. This training can also support broader airfield safety campaigns and initiatives.
This General Aviation Airfield Safety and Security Awareness Course is designed to:
- Enhance awareness of common airfield hazards and security threats
- Promote safe behaviour among all airfield users
- Reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, and security breaches
Note: For commercial airports or larger aerodromes, please refer to our alternative course: Ramp/Airside Safety Awareness.
