Description
IATA AHM1110 11.3 RMP03 | Approx. 60-90 mins | Self-study online
Drivers in airside areas of commercial airports are required to hold an Airside Driving Permit (ADP). This course provides drivers’ knowledge towards gaining this permit. The UK Civil Aviation Authority require aerodromes to implement an Airside Driving Permit (ADP) scheme, as detailed in CAP790. This includes a requirement for the training and assessment of drivers. Some airports have their own airside driver training programme and provide this training in-house; for those that don’t, our course is an ideal solution to cover the key topics that airside drivers need to know.
Upon completing this course, the candidate will be awarded a certificate of theory training. This does not grant permission to drive airside, as it should be supplemented with practical training and briefing on local procedures. A practical training checklist is included for use by the employer in the absence of their own.
