This course provides an understanding of each part of the Safety Management System (SMS) and is designed for personnel responsible for SMS implementation or executing SMS functions. This may include Supervisors, Managers, Trainers and others.
The UK Civil Aviation Authority require aerodromes to implement an SMS, as detailed in CAP795. The IATA Airport Handling Manual (AHM1110 11.2) includes a requirement to provide SMS training to staff. Our course is designed to help organisations comply with these requirements.
